CloudBees and Jenkins Community Announce Jenkins World 2016

The worldwide event for All Things Jenkins: Come learn, explore and network with the Jenkins community

SAN JOSE, CA. – March 10, 2016 – The Jenkins project, comprised of the community of practitioners using open source Jenkins, today announced the dates for the Jenkins World 2016 conference. Building on the success of past Jenkins User Conferences (JUC), the 2016 event will be a three-day, multi-track global event comprised of everything Jenkins: community, CloudBees and ecosystem. The event will be held in Santa Clara on September 13-15 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Once again, CloudBees,Inc , the enterprise Jenkins company and continuous delivery leader, will be the lead organizer and premier sponsor.

Jenkins World will bring together the largest gathering of Jenkins users in the world, including Jenkins experts, continuous delivery thought leaders and companies offering complementary technologies for Jenkins. Jenkins World will provide opportunities for attendees to learn, explore and network face-to-face, as well as to help shape the future of Jenkins.

Jenkins World will feature four tracks and more than 40 sessions to help users get the most business value out of Jenkins.

Plan now for Jenkins World 2016 by:

  • The Jenkins community is looking for speaker abstracts that address how to: scale Jenkins in the enterprise, extend continuous integration to continuous delivery and use Jenkins solutions to help accelerate software delivery.

  • Sponsoring Jenkins World 2016: A limited number of corporate and commercial sponsorships are now available. For more information about sponsoring Jenkins World: https://www.jenkinsworld.com

  • Saving the date: Mark your calendars now for September 13-15 and take advantage of the best Jenkins learning opportunity in 2016.

  • Registering for Jenkins World 2016: Starting on April 5.

“The new structure of Jenkins World is a testament to the strong growth the community and ecosystem have experienced over the past several years. This is the first time ever that we will invite everyone from around the world to finally meet in one place,” said Kohsuke Kawaguchi, founder of the Jenkins project and CTO, CloudBees. “Having a three-day event for all Jenkins people – from newbie users to long-time plugin developers – to come together to exchange ideas, share best practices and strike up conversations will help to strengthen the community and spark new ideas for the Jenkins project.”
