American Express Global Business Travel won the 2019 CloudBees Innovation Award for CI/CD Automation Excellence based on its DevOps transformation.
Previously, AmexGBT had several variations of pipelines, running on different installations of Jenkins. This created dozens of similar pipelines that were created and maintained by different individuals and different teams. The environment became extremely hard to maintain at an enterprise scale.
Now, all development teams operate in a single, consistent environment creating standardization and significantly reducing the maintenance burden on its developers.
