SAN JOSE, CA. – July 25, 2017 – CloudBees, Inc. , the hub of enterprise Jenkins and DevOps, today announced that Charles E. Peters, Jr. has been appointed to its board of directors, effective June 22, 2017.
Charles E. Peters, Jr. brings more than 35 years of financial leadership including 30 years in publicly traded companies. Most recently, Peters held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer of Red Hat, Inc. from August, 2004 to July, 2015. While at NYSE-listed Red Hat, Peters helped to propel the company to be the largest open source company in the world and one of the best open source multi-billion dollar success stories.

Peters began his career with Price Waterhouse (PW) in 1973, serving in both the Boston and London audit divisions. In 1982, he joined GenRad, Inc., an NYSE-listed multi-national manufacturer of scientific test equipment where he served as chief financial officer for six years. In 1991, he joined NYSE-listed Boston Edison Company, a $1.5 billion electric power company serving the Boston area, where he served as senior vice president, finance. In 1995, he joined Burlington Industries (now International Textile Group, Inc.) where he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for nine years.
