CloudBees Selected as a Winner of 2014 InfoWorld Technology of the Year Award

InfoWorld Test Center Editors and Reviewers Pick CloudBees as a Top Cloud Solution for Third Consecutive Year

2014 InfoWorld Technology AwardsWOBURN, MA. - January 28, 2014 - CloudBees, the Enterprise Platform as a Service (PaaS) innovation leader, today announced that IDG's InfoWorld has announced the company as one of 35 winners of the prestigious 2014 InfoWorld Technology of the Year Awards. Selected by InfoWorld Test Center editors and reviewers, the annual list identifies the best and most innovative products and services on the IT landscape.

The 2014 awards recognize the best hardware, software and cloud products and services in a variety of categories. CloudBees' selection marks the third consecutive year the company has made the InfoWorld list.

In its January 15 announcement, InfoWorld said the 2014 list continues to illustrate technology's move to cloud-based products and services that provide value for customers.

"CloudBees is a rich PaaS ecosystem that supports the entire lifecycle of Java development," the announcement stated. "The biggest strength of CloudBees, however, courses through the pipeline of continuous delivery it enables. Privately hosted SCM and Maven repositories trigger Jenkins builds, which then push your app through staging and production for you. CloudBees is also adoption friendly, providing a large collection of ClickStarts that spin up all of your project scaffolding -- application, database, source repo, build pipeline, everything. Java and JVM-based derivations are CloudBees' specialty, but it also supports PHP, Ruby, and Node.js projects."

"To have our platform be recognized by InfoWorld as one of the top tools and technologies for the third consecutive year continues to validate the quality of our technology, our team and our application lifecycle approach to PaaS," said Sacha Labourey, CEO, CloudBees. "The recognition strengthens our commitment to provide development teams with the best technology offerings for continuous integration and continuous delivery."

Other notable names to make this year's list include Amazon Web Services, GitHub, Dell, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft and Apple.
