For any organization developing mobile apps, the app's store rating is one of the most important KPIs. As a result, development speed is key. Teams must be able to iterate fast and ship beautiful apps to users frequently. But with growing mobile teams, this is becoming more and more challenging.
The reality is DevOps looks different in a mobile environment. As such, tools and processes should be adapted to the mobile release flow so organizations can use these tools effectively to monitor applications, rollout a feature safely and react to incident-related and one-star reviews.
Mobile DevOps engineers play a fundamental role in adapting development flow to deliver mobile apps to users. In this talk, I will share my personal experience as a mobile DevOps engineer, some of my preferred tools and some of the lessons I’ve learned while building mobile infrastructures.
