We were so pleased that CloudBees was honored last night with two awards in Computing’s 2024 Excellence in DevOps Awards. The Excellence in DevOps Awards honor the best tools, teams, leaders, and DevOps accomplishments in the industry. The awards were presented at The Montcalm in London during an evening event attended by two of our Bees - Shawn Ahmed (below, left), CPO, and one of our London-based Bees, Andy Campbell (below, right), director of consulting.

Highly Commended DevOps Leader of the Year went to Shawn Ahmed, chief product officer
I have known Shawn for many years and have to say that to see pictures of him in a suit was worth its weight in gold! He and Andy had a delightful evening, enjoying dinner and networking throughout the evening with other nominees and their guests. In fact, big shout-out to five of our customers, who were also finalists: Accenture UK, Allianz, BNP Paribas, HSBC, and Vodafone. HSBC was a winner in two categories and we are proud to congratulate Mike Thompson and the HSBC GMDE DevOps Team!
The Best Continuous Delivery Product award recognized CloudBees CD/RO for its ability to enable DevOps teams to accelerate the delivery of quality code. CloudBees CD/RO is a feature-rich continuous delivery and release orchestration product that can handle any deployment environment with ease. The result is faster releases, improved collaboration, and a governed release process across your entire software development lifecycle. CloudBees CD/RO also provides rich analytics and insights, while its compliance functionality keeps the auditors at bay. CloudBees CD/RO integrates seamlessly with CloudBees CI, our enterprise version of Jenkins - the most popular DevOps platform in the world.
In 2023, the product and engineering teams at CloudBees delivered major innovations. Significant product launches included a new DevSecOps platform and high availability (active/active) and horizontal scalability enhancements for CloudBees CI.
Meanwhile, the product innovation that occurs in the Hive is the result of hard work on the part of many Bees across our product organization. However, it's Shawn who manages it all - across global teams, tools, and technologies. The award for Highly Commended DevOps Leader of the Year celebrates a leader like Shawn who inspires his team every day to achieve amazing innovation. Shawn is one of the most positive and inspiring leaders I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my career. He knows how to be successful - but, more importantly, he knows how to enable success for those who work for him and he takes pride in doing so. Go Shawn!
